Introduction The Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Races (CXHKIR), Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup and Champions Mile all become very important stops for many trainers and owners from many countries around the world. These international Group 1 races continue to offer excellent prize money and are run at the stunning Sha Tin Racecourse in Hong Kong's New Territories. The CXHKIR is recognised as the Turf World Championships and the 2008 renewal will be held on Sunday, 14 December 2008 while the prestigious and historic AP QE II Cup and the Champions Mile (3rd leg of the Asian Mile Challenge series) are scheduled to run on Sunday, 26 April. 2008.
